Ophélie Mercury ✧ Techno & Psytrance DJ Producer

French-born and Melbourne-based, Ophélie Mercury is a DJ, producer and label owner whose sound lives at the meeting point of hypnotic techno and psytrance ✧ powerful, emotive and driven by a constant pull towards the unexpected.

Beginning her journey in the clubs of Paris before relocating to Australia in 2016, Ophélie has spent the years since carving out a distinct place within Melbourne’s electronic music scene. Her evolution has taken her from European club floors and ADE to some of Australia’s most recognised electronic music events, including Pure by Carl Cox, Hypersonic, Esoteric and Earth Frequency.

Rather than being defined by a single corner of electronic music, Ophélie has built her identity in the space between worlds. Techno provides the foundation; psytrance pushes it somewhere further. That duality has seen her share lineups with artists spanning both sides of that spectrum, including Adam Beyer, Reinier Zonneveld, John Summit, Liquid Soul and Talpa, while developing a musical language increasingly centred around her own productions.

Her releases have appeared across a range of international labels, but the creation of Echo of Eternity Records marked a new chapter: a platform built to give her evolving sound a home without boundaries, extending her creative vision beyond production and performance into a world entirely of her own making.

As Ophélie Mercury continues to move deeper into production, the line between techno and psytrance becomes increasingly blurred — not as a crossover for its own sake, but as the natural expression of an artist who has never been particularly interested in staying inside the lines.
